Nectar vs Purple Mattress Review

Nectar vs Purple Mattress – The Nectar and Purple mattresses are highly recommended by experts but come with very different qualities. Let’s find out which one is right for you.

What are you sleeping on? The choice is yours with our Nectar vs. Purple Mattress comparison.

Nectar vs Purple Mattress: Which is Better?

Here are some of the best mattresses for your needs, depending on what position you sleep in and whether or not there’s someone else sharing space with us.

Nectar is a Better Choice for:

The Nectar is a great choice for anyone who wants to feel like they’re sleeping. You’ll sink into this mattress, which can be perfect if you’re a Side or Back sleeper and enjoy lots of contouring.

Purple is a Better Choice for:

If you’re looking for a mattress with the perfect mix of comfort and breathability, I highly recommend going with Purple. The grid material provides just enough support without being too soft or firm—and it’s also easy on your body.

The choice between a traditional memory foam mattress and an orthopedic one is something to think about.

The Nectar, designed for people who spend most of their time on back sleepers, will provide you with better durability and support your spine without causing any discomfort at nighttime since it’s medium stiff rather than soft like some other mattresses in this category and can be.

Nectar vs Purple: Differences & Similarities

The Nectar and Purple are both high-quality mattresses that use layers of foam to create their desired feel. The industry standard for medium firmness is found in both options. Still, one has an interesting grid structure that provides a different overall experience than what you’d find with other brands or models on the market today.

Check out my full review below–I would encourage readers also to check out my colleague’s excellent work when reviewing this product.

Differences

The Purple uses a Hyper-Elastic Polymer grid in its comfort layer to provide a unique feel. You either love it or hate the open structure, which provides great balanced pressure relief and breathability for your bedding needs.

The Nectar bed has a memory foam feel, while the Purple one is more bouncy and offers an experience similar to sleeping on top of the water.

Similarities

These two mattresses have a lot in common. First, they both use high-density poly foam for support – this base material provides stability and shape to each structure! The Nectar and Purple are bed-in boxes, so when you get them, there’s not much else needed except time (and maybe an air mattress).

If you’re looking for the perfect mattress for your needs, then these two brands are worth checking out. They offer an impressive selection of different models with prices ranging from affordable options all the all-the-way up to luxury levels.

Purple Vs. Nectar Mattress Feel

The construction specs for these mattresses may have been released, but it’s important to figure out how they feel. To do this, I will examine them by feeling different factors, such as firmness and pressure relief which can change depending on one’s body size or shape.

Nectar

The Nectar by sensation is a 6 out of 10 on the firmness scale, with one being soft and ten being hard. Compared to other mattress brands in this industry offering medium levels (6-7), we found that it was slightly softer than those competitors’ products, making me think there may be some Indica dominant genetics going around here.

The Nectar is primarily built of plush memory foam, which means most folks will experience it as quite gentle. Everyone interacts with this type differently – some sleepers sink straight through the material while others take longer, but everyone feels more “in” than on top.

This vibe could work well for those back or side sleeping over 130 lbs ( lighter side sleeper may not be enough). On another note, stomach and combo breast men might find that our soft beds don’t meet their needs. A lot can change when you switch from your hard mattress home to something softer.

Purple

This bed is so firm it scored a 7 out of 10 on my scale.

I felt the difference between this mattress and others in terms of comfort. The Purple provides an excellent night’s sleep due to its high-quality materials, strong construction features (even has spongy backing!), perfect height for sitting up at breakfast tomorrow morning–and most importantly because you won’t be sleeping through any more deadlines, thanks to all that hard-working feedback from your brain telling me how much better things look when we’ve got fresh eyes looking over them first thing each day.

The Purple mattress is a high-performing hybrid designed to provide the best of both worlds – its supportive feel will keep you aligned while also providing some bounce for posture adjustments at night. Back and stomach sleepers may enjoy this firm lift, but side sleepers’ shoulders won’t be helped by it as much due to their lack of relief from lower back pain issues that arise when sleeping on an inclined surface with no pillows nearby.

What did I feel about Sleeping on Nectar and Purple Comparison?

How will the Nectar and Purple Mattresses feel for a variety of sleepers? Let’s find out.

Nectar

Back and Side: This bed is perfect for those who like a soft and snuggly mattress but also want some support. The firmness level of this one will be on the softer side, so it’s not too hard or uncomfortable to lay your head against while you sleep.

Stomach and Body Weight: The Nectar has been designed to be softer for people under 130 lbs and firmer as you get heavier. This means those who weigh less will feel more sink when lying on the mattress. At the same time, larger individuals may have trouble feeling any give because their body weight becomes physically occlusive to its capabilities.

The stomach area of this bed often requires an eight or higher out of 10 scale (on firmness), which could make some users too uncomfortable due to being far too soft.

Purple

Back and Side: This mattress perfectly balances comfort and support for a good night’s sleep. You’ll love its layer of softness on top and how it keeps your spine neutral during slumber.

Stomach and Body Weight: The Purple mattress is designed to provide a healthy alignment for your spine, so it’s perfect if you sleep on the stomach or backside. If weight doesn’t seem like an issue with anyone in this category, then getting plenty of support from their bedding should be no problem.

Nectar vs Purple Mattress Fabric

In this section, I’ll give a brief rundown on how these two beds differ. Though they both feature foam without inward spring coils to make them more durable and comfortable over time, their materials are also quite different.

Nectar

Cover and Comfort Layer: The comfy mattress cover is made of breathable polyester and nylon that’s nice to sleep on. When you bask your head in its softness, it will be followed by a comfort layer that has gel memory foam for increased contouring relief at the shoulders, hips, and lower back areas due to its slow response time when pressure increases upon lying down; this makes plenty space available so we can sink into them more easily than other materials such as steel springs do.

Transition and Base Layer: The Transition Layer provides a slight resistance as you push down on it, helping to transition from one mattress setting (e.g., soft) into another slightly harder one. The base of this layer is mostly composed of high-density polyfoam, which gives your bed its stability and shape – working together with all those other layers we discussed above.

Purple

Cover and Comfort Layer: The Purple cover is crafted from a soft knit fabric that’s gentle and stretchy. Right underneath the mattress, you’ll spot their signature purple grid™ material, which has a quick response to pressure with walls that collapse under your weight, creating some nice comfort for those hard-to-reach spots. This isn’t as deep or intense, so don’t expect miracles – but it should still provide relief, at least until Nectar kicks in.

Transition and Base Layer: Below the grid lies a layer of transitional poly foam, which primarily supports and eases your sleeper into the firmer ground below. The base is composed mainly of high-density plastics that give shape and stability for safe sleepers at night throughout their whole childhood years.

Nectar vs Purple Mattresses Key Features

The Nectars Mattress is a deep-pressure relief mattress that provides head-to-toe comfort. It has plush memory foam, which helps you sink into it, giving your body what’s needed for targeted areas of pain relief and support while also providing plenty more pillowlike feel on top so people with back problems can comfortably sleep upright.

The Purple mattress is a great choice for those who want to feel “on top” of their bed. The medium-firm bounce will support your body as you move around throughout the night, making it perfect whether you’re sleeping alone or with someone else in tow.
